2018 Scholarships

The Tri-State Italian-American Congress President Louis Vele presents a check in the

The Tri-State Italian-American Congress presents $200,000 to two hundred sixty-five students from 200 families. Catholic school students from the Bronx gather after each student received an Edward Cardinal Egan Scholarship at Cathedral High School in Manhattan on January 16, 2018.

On November 16, 2017, at St. James Cathedral-Basilica in Brooklyn, Catholic elementary students in the Diocese of Brooklyn and Queens received scholarships from the Tri-State Italian-American Congress to help meet their education costs. Among the group of scholarship recipients, is Bishop Nicholas DiMarzio as well as TSIAC members.

On May 1st, 2018, representatives of the Tri-State Italian American congress presented $25,000 in scholarships to a group of students of Italian heritage from 25 Catholic elementary schools in the Archdiocese of Newark.
